EXT. PODUNK TOWN STADIUM - DAY

Many people are gathered around the soccer field. The Podunk
Unicorns are playing against the Applewood Dragons.

A crowd of spectators are on the bleachers and watching. Some
of them are cheering. Others watch as they drink cold drinks.

Players kick the soccer ball around to each other. CHAD, 25,
kicks the ball as it comes his way. He kicks it back and
forth while dodging the opponent players. The opponents are
also trying to kick it out of his control as he makes his way
                   toward the goal.
At 20 feet away from the goal, he kicks the ball as hard as
he can into the goal net. While he kicks it, one of the
members of the opponent team accidentally kicks Chad's right
                   knee very hard.

The soccer ball passes the goalie by 5 inches to the left and
hits the net, scoring a goal.

Chad falls to the ground and screams in pain; his teammate,
                   LUKE, 25, runs towards him.

                                       LUKE
                             Chad, are you okay?

                                       CHAD
No, I got kicked directly in the
knee as I kicked the ball.

                                       LUKE
Coach, stop the game for a minute.
We need to get Chad to the doctor.
                             Chad, can you walk?

Chad tries to lift himself but falls again because it hurts
too much. A spectator, MATT, 23, in the bleachers, leaves his
seat and runs to help Luke and the coach carry Chad to the
local sports injury clinic close to the field.

                   INT. CLINIC - MOMENTS LATER

Luke and Matt carry Chad into the small building where
DOCTOR, 50s, is writing something down on a clipboard.

                                       CHAD
Doctor, can you check out my knee?

                                       DOCTOR
Yes, let's do a quick x-ray to see
                             if anything is broken.

Doctor X-rays Chad's knee. Matt grabs some ice while Luke
                   exits.

                                       DOCTOR
It looks like a minor fracture. I
suggest you hold off from playing
soccer for at least six months, and
I will give you a tight compression
knee brace to help keep it in
                             place.

                                       CHAD
Thanks, doc. Do you have any
                             painkillers you can prescribe?

                                       DOCTOR
Sure, I will prescribe a strong
pain reliever for you. Get some
rest while the pharmacy gets it
                             ready.

                                       MATT
Sorry Chad, I know it must suck not
to play soccer for a while.

                                       CHAD
Yeah, but it's not the only thing
in life. There are plenty of other
things I can do while I heal.

                                       MATT
Maybe you should come over tomorrow
to my house, and we could play
                             video games?

                                       CHAD
Yeah, that will be fun. I can tell
you about plans I have for a new
                             career.

                                       MATT
New career? Are you quitting soccer
                             permanently?

                                       CHAD
No, I will still play for fun, but
I think this injury is a sign that
God wants me to find a new line of
work. Soccer is nice, but I want to
do something that will make a
difference for change in the world.

                                       MATT
What do you want to do for a new
                             career?

                                       CHAD
I want to be a writer who can write
about important topics like how to
be a follower of Jesus and also
                             write books about the different
sports in the world as being for
fun, even more than as a
                             competition for prize money or
                             scholarships. But what about you,
Matt? Do you have any plans for the
                             future?

                                       MATT
Honestly I don't really know about
my future. I would like to move to
a new state or maybe even country
and live a private life where I can
                             figure it out.

                                       CHAD
But you already have a private life
on your farm in this town. Why
would you need to go somewhere
                             else?

Luke arrives with some lemonade for himself and Chad. While
he is coming toward the room, he stops to listen in.

                                       MATT
Chad, I need to leave this town
                             because I can't be a Christian
                             anymore. I know I am a sinner,
doomed to hell no matter what I do,
so I am going to go live somewhere
else while I figure out if there is
any new religion or spiritual path
that I can really believe in.

                                       CHAD
What are you talking about? Why do
you think you're going to hell?

                                       MATT
Chad, I have heard the pastor
preach from 1 Corinthians about how
                             homosexuals can't inherit the
                             kingdom of God.

                                       CHAD
Wait, you mean to say you're gay? I
                             had no idea.

                                       MATT
Yes, I hope this doesn't mean we
                             can't be friends anymore.

                                       CHAD
Not at all. Look, Matt, I don't
know anything about being gay, but
I think the point is that Jesus has
forgiven us of all our sins,
including those we will do in the
                             future.

                                       MATT
But Chad, do you think being gay is
a sin? Am I always going to be
displeasing to God because of my
                             impure thoughts? I don't know if I
                             can take that.

                                       CHAD
I have some questions myself about
whether I believe everything in the
Bible. But in any case, we will
figure this all out together as
                             friends, okay?

Luke walks into the room with cups and a gallon of lemonade.
He pretends he didn't hear the conversation they were just
having, but they quit talking as soon as Luke enters the room
to finish the conversation in private later.

INT. MATT'S HOUSE BASEMENT - THE NEXT DAY

Matt is in his basement setting up his TV and Nintendo 64 to
play Super Smash Bros. with Chad. While he is getting things
plugged in, he notices a burning smell. He goes up the stairs
to check where the smell is coming from but sees flames
coming from the door. He is in the basement, where everything
is concrete, so he is not in immediate danger, but he doesn't
know where the fire could start.

EXT. SIDEWALK LEADING TO MATT'S HOUSE - MOMENTS LATER

Chad is rolling down the sidewalk with his electric
wheelchair towards Matt's house. He sees the entire house in
flames and worries about Matt. Just as Chad pulls out his
cell phone to call Matt, he sees Luke running towards Matt's
                   car, holding a blowtorch.
Luke gets in the car and drives away as fast as possible.
Chad proceeds to call Matt. Matt answers.

                                       CHAD
Matt, are you okay?! Your house is
                             burning down!

                                       MATT
I know! I am trapped in the
                             basement where nothing can burn,
                             but I wasn't cooking anything, so I
don't know how a fire would start.

                                       CHAD
I just saw Luke with a blowtorch
outside your house and he also
                             stole your car!

                                       MATT
Wait, why would Luke burn down my
                             house and steal my car?

                                       CHAD
I don't know, but clearly, he was
expecting you not to need the car.

                                       MATT
                             Chad, I think I may know what's
going on. I don't like to think
about this, but Luke may be trying
                             to kill me.

                                       CHAD
Why would he kill you? What did you
                             do to him?

                                       MATT
There is no time for that; I will
explain later. Just get me out of
                             here.

                                       CHAD
                             Have you called the fire
department, or should I call for
                             you?

                                       MATT
I haven't yet. Please call them but
                             don't tell them anything about
                             seeing Luke outside my house.

                                       CHAD
Wait, why would I not tell them? If
Luke is trying to kill you for some
reason we need to stop him?

                                       MATT
Chad, if God burns gay people in
hell, why should Luke be any
                             different?

                                       CHAD
I don't know what to think about
that, but I will talk with you
about it later. I will call the
fire department, and they will get
                             you out safely.

A big fire truck arrives, and a group of firemen attaches a
giant hose to the nearby fire hydrant. They spray the fire
completely out. Then they open the basement door, and Matt
                   walks out.

                                       MATT
I am so glad to be out of there. I
still want to talk with you
somewhere private. Can we use your
car and drive somewhere far away
where people like Luke can't hear
                             us?

                                       CHAD
You got it, bro. Here are my keys.
I want you to drive so I can rest
my knee. It hurts really bad from
                             yesterday's injury still. Drive
                             wherever you need to.

                   EXT. COUNTRY ROAD - DAY

Chad and Matt drive in the direction of Applewood, the
                   nearest town to Podunk.

                                       CHAD
Matt, I need to know what you meant
about God burning gay people. What
does this have to do with Luke?

                                       MATT
I believe Luke may have heard me
tell you at the clinic that I am
                             gay.
When people in a small religious
town find something like that out,
they tend to react negatively. Now
that Luke knows my secret, he could
tell the police and they could
arrest me. That's why we can't
trust anyone in town, not even the
people of the fire department, to
                             know I am gay.

                                       CHAD
Arrest you for what? You haven't
                             done anything!

                                       MATT
                             It's not anything I have done. It's
about what they assume I will do if
I am allowed to live. They assume
that homosexuality is a worse crime
than other sins based on certain
                             bible verses.

                                       CHAD
But why would they act differently
for that sin than lying, stealing,
                             or adultery?

                                       MATT
Chad, you know as well as I do that
the Bible says in 1 Corinthians
                             Chapter 6 that homosexuals can't
inherit the kingdom of God. I
assume that means I am going to
                             hell because that's literally what
it sounds like and what many
                             preachers say.

                                       CHAD
So you think that Luke got the idea
that you should be burned because
you're gay? But you haven't even
done anything! How would he know
you're gay anyway? Have you told
                             anyone before?

                                       MATT
No, Chad, you're the first person I
have told. I need to know if you
                             can still love me.

                                       CHAD
Matt, you're just the friend I have
                             known my whole life.
                             Nothing changes just because you
told me you're gay. If a good guy
like you is damned to hell, then I
                             guess so am I!

                                       MATT
Wait, why would you go to hell? Are
                             you gay, too?

                                       CHAD
No, I am your straight best friend,
but I am no more or less a sinner
than you. We have all done things
we shouldn't have done before. I
                             just think Christianity is more
                             about God's forgiveness than
                             judgment.

                                       MATT
But do you believe that we suffer
                             eternal punishment for some sins?

                                       CHAD
I am not God, and it's not my place
to judge. It's also not Luke's
place to judge you or try to kill
                             you!

They almost have left city limits when they notice they are
                   being followed by Matt's car.

                                       CHAD
Matt, it looks like your car is
behind us, Luke must have followed
us driving your car. What do you
                             want to do?

                                       MATT
                             I don't know, Chad, I am scared!

                                       CHAD
Stop the car and let me get out. As
soon as Luke stops, you drive away,
and I will distract him while you
go somewhere he can't find you.

                                       MATT
But what will happen to you?

                                       CHAD
There is only one way to find out.

Matt stops the car just long enough for Chad to get out. Luke
stops Matt's car that he is driving and gets out to speak to
them. Just as he does, Matt drives away, leaving Luke in
                   shock.

                                       LUKE
He is escaping! Chad, you better
tell me where Matt is going!

                                       CHAD
Why, so you can try to kill him
again? What is wrong with you?!

                                       LUKE
I know he is a homosexual, and he
is going to burn in hell for his
                             sins anyway, so what difference
                             does it make to you?

                                       CHAD
If you really believe that, then
why not let God be the judge of
Matt instead of attacking him now?

                                       LUKE
Because I can't let other people be
                             corrupted by the homosexual
                             lifestyle, especially the children!

                                       CHAD
                             First, you don't know Matt's
                             lifestyle. Second, you have just
tried to murder a friend that we
                             have both known since childhood.
Aren't you a little bit concerned
about your act of murder? You
hypocrite, first take the log out
of your eye, and then you will see
clearly to take the speck out of
                             your brother's eye.

                                       LUKE
Don't quote scripture at me, Chad.
Get out of my way, or I will kill
                             you, too.

                                       CHAD
Go ahead, Luke, do what you want
with me, but I won't let you harm
                             Matt.

                                       LUKE
Why would you defend an abominable
                             sinner like Matt?

                                       CHAD
                             First, Matt hasn't actually done
anything wrong, and even if he had,
I forgive him just as Jesus would.
I think to myself: "What would
Jesus do?". Jesus died for us. It's
the least I can do for Matt.

                                       LUKE
                             You can't be serious! As
                             Christians, we need to condemn
                             wickedness and not justify or
accept it as valid in our society.

                                       CHAD
When did I accept or justify
wickedness? I only remain a friend
to Matt the same way I always was.
So go ahead and kill me. Take my
money, my car, and my house, and
replace me on the soccer team. I
                             quit.

Luke drops to the ground, crying for a while. Finally, he
                   speaks to Chad

                                       LUKE
Chad, I have never seen a human
love someone so much as you love
Matt. I am not going to kill you or
take your stuff. In fact, you've
given me a lot to think about. But
what am I going to do now? If the
police find out what I have done, I
will go to jail. How can I forgive
myself for what I have almost done?

                                       CHAD
                             With humans, this is impossible,
but with God, all things are
possible. We will cross that bridge
                             when we get there.

Chad drives Luke back to town and drops him off near the
church. Luke prays for a while, asking God for forgiveness.
Chad goes back and continues to drive to Applewood. On the

  • Chastity’s Statement on Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Medical Freedom

This post is my manifesto of why I support Robert F. Kennedy Jr as Secretary of Health and Human Services. His education on vaccines is of special interest to me. I will lay out some of my reasons.

    1. Vaccines cannot be proven to save the life of anyone

There is no proof that a vaccine would save anyone’s life. Suppose they did die from a disease. Then maybe they would have survived if they had received better medical care, better nutrition, or more effort at protecting themselves from getting it by sanitization or social distancing. We cannot say for certain that these things or vaccines would have saved their life. Such statements require time travel and experiments that humans cannot perform. All these statements are purely speculative. Many things go into who survives and who dies.

Since there is no time travel, if someone dies we can’t go back in time and vaccinate them and then see if the vaccine somehow made them immune from the disease by watching them for the next 20-30 years. Instead, it is just ASSUMED that the vaccines work because everyone is forced to be vaccinated as a child. It’s a lot like a person who just assumes that people are born with circumcised penises because that’s all they have ever seen. We can’t always let the majority become the norm.

    2. Ethical considerations forbid me from supporting vaccines in any way

Even if vaccines did save some lives and this could be proven, I am firmly against vaccine mandates. Many people lost their jobs due to Joe Biden and others making vaccine mandates. People were unable to visit their dying loved ones on their death beds. Many folks spent the last weeks/months/year(s) of their lives being denied visits from their grandchildren and other family. People still to this day have lasting harm from isolation.

As a vegan, I do not support the use of animal body parts (including aborted human fetus tissue) used in the production and testing of vaccines. So even if vaccines did save human lives in some cases, it could not ever be justified on ethical grounds as it stands today. Many people additionally refuse vaccines because of health, ethical/moral, and even religious reasons. To force them against their will is slavery.

    3. Medical Freedom A.K.A. “My Body My Choice”

We need leadership that will protect medical freedom because it is essential that where there is risk, there must be a choice. My right to decide which healthcare I receive or not is one of the many reasons I fully support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services Secretary. His long-term advocacy against vaccines, especially mandatory ones, along with his vocal opposition to forced fluoride in our water supply, are very crucial to address and for having true freedom as an American.

None of this should be taken as a statement that I agree with every opinion held by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., but this one issue is extremely important to me. Every person has many views that almost no one will ever fully agree with; however, at this time, focusing on medical freedom is important to me.

I, Chastity White Rose, believe that each person should have the right to decide what they eat or drink, which vaccines they take or not, what surgeries they wish to have, and who they want to marry. I, as an LGBTQIA advocate and Pro-Life individual, believe that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will save many lives through his work, regardless of his personal opinion on the topic of abortion.

This post was written as a response to some people who claimed that I am not Pro-Life because I support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Anastasia Lindsey Rogers contributed some parts.

  • Chastity’s Chess Challenge November Newsletter

I had set myself a goal to make at least one post a month about how my business is going. For those who haven’t read my first post in October, I set myself on the path to be a Chess Coach. It is very clear that I have a lot of information to share about the game of Chess and I am gradually improving as a player and as a writer. In this month’s post, I would like to use some inspiration from my mother, Judena Klebs, who asked me what it is about the game of Chess that I like so much. For this reason, I have compiled a short list of the features that make Chess, as well as many variants like Shogi or Xiangqi, unique from other games.

    1. There is no chance or randomness based on dice, coin flip, spinning wheel, or random number generator.

Because Chess is only based on the decisions of the players, no external elements are used. Can you imagine if Chess was like Pokemon or Final Fantasy, where a piece might capture another piece but only if dice were rolled (like the game of Risk)? Can you imagine if the king was checkmated if a coin was flipped and landed on heads? Or what if random numbers were assigned and decided where a piece moves to instead of the players deciding it? These things would ruin Chess, and people would stop playing. In fact, their presence in other games is actually disgusting, in my opinion, because then games are about getting lucky instead of winning based on skill.

    2. Planning is possible

Because of the lack of random chance, as mentioned before, it is possible to plan a strategy or a plan A for my next move. Then, if, during my opponent’s turn, they make a move that ruins what I was going to do. I can make a plan B in case of this and repeat this process so that no matter what move they make, I have something ready to go. I like to plan and strategize instead of just doing what I feel like in the moment.

    3. Chess is for everyone of every race, gender, financial status, and age.

Any person who can see the board and pieces can place Chess. It doesn’t really matter what you look like or how old you are. It’s also a game where men and women are completely equal because it is a sport of the mind instead of physical strength.

Some people believe that men are smarter than women at Chess. I have actually listened to different people’s opinions on this, and it is worth mentioning because it’s a persistent myth that actually motivated me to get back into the game of Chess. Part of the reason for people believing this false statement is the presence of more men who are titled players traveling the world and winning tournaments. But then elements such as how much money they have to travel or whether women are allowed to participate in certain countries become a factor. There is also the problem of sexual harassment, and women are in physical danger in many places of the world.

But you don’t have to have a lot of money to play Chess for fun with your friends and family. In fact, you can play Chess online with random strangers if you have a computer or a cell phone and an internet connection. The fact is that Chess is a game where sexism, racism, homophobia, and transphobia have no place. It’s for that reason that in my AI songs about Chess, I often mention the equality between all people.

Those are the 3 main reasons I believe Chess is set apart from other board, card, and video games. Chess is something that is more accessible and uses the mind in a way other games don’t.

  • Chastity’s French Defense Study

I like the French Defense because it naturally seems to help me build a reversed black Queen’s Gambit. I consider it the perfect sister opening to Queen’s Gambit for White but it looks a little bit different. I also like it because the pawn structure on black’s side looks a lot like the Queen’s Gambit declined position. It’s similar enough that it feels natural for someone like me who has played so many Queen’s Gambit games. The following are my notes on some positions and what I think based on my own play style and also what I have learned from other Chess coaches.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5

French Defense Two Center White Pawns Variation

This is the most common position you will see after 4 moves. White has two pawns in the center and black has pawns at e6 and d5. This could lead to either an exchange or advanced variation based on what white’s next move is.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. exd5 exd5

    French Defense Exchange Variation

When I play the French Defense, this is the position I am actually hoping for. The reason is that my light squared bishop is not trapped in the same way. This gives me flexibility to build a Black London System or Black Queen’s Gambit. The exchange variation puts black in a better position than the advance variation. Most players know this and so you will face the advance variation more often. What you will do next depends on white’s next move.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5

    French Defense Advance Variation

When white moves their pawn forward to e5, black is kind of trapped because they can’t move their queen or knight to f3. If you find yourself in this position, the move that I recommend is c5 because this leads us to a Black Queen’s Gambit. We are hoping the d4 pawn takes it so that we can capture back with our bishop and also removed the defender of the e5 pawn.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Nf3 Qb6

One of the more interesting things about this position is that by moving the queen to b6, it lines the queen up with the diagonal attacking the weak f2 square and also b2. If the bishop moves, b2 can be captured. If at any time the d4 pawn captures the c5 pawn, we can capture back with the bishop and will have both the black bishop and queen attacking that f2 square. This will lead to complete chaos and white will have a hard time preventing us from getting their without putting either their bishop or knight in the way.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Nf3 Qb6 6. Be2 Nh6 7. Bxh6 gxh6

In this position, black has lost a knight but white has also lost a bishop that was defending the b2 square. This means black is in a better position because it can destroy white’s pawns and maybe even their a1 rook if they don’t defend it correctly.

    1. e4 e6 2. d4 d5 3. e5 c5 4. c3 Nc6 5. Nf3 Qb6 6. Be2 Nh6 7. O-O cxd4 8. cxd4 Nf5

In this case, white’s bishop didn’t capture the knight when it had the chance. When the knight reaches f5 then both knights and the queen are attacking the d4 square. White will lose material here if they still try to defend the d4 pawn.

  • Chastity’s Ultimate Queen’s Gambit Study

    Chastity’s Ultimate Queen’s Gambit Study

(this is a work in progress and this is my favorite opening for white. Second is the London System)

I want to make a complete study of the Queen’s Gambit Chess Opening (not the Netflix series named after it, which I have not seen). I love playing this opening but I have never really analyzed it as much as I should. I want to specialize in this opening when I am playing white. I am collecting my notes on this topic when I find the time. Because lichess stores every game I have ever played, I can go back to every time I played this opening and find out what went right or wrong. I can then analyze my own losses and find out in hindsight what I SHOULD have done in that game. This could potentially help me the next time.

I am quite busy with Walmart and school, but I plan to update this post as I play more games and have more data. Also, I am still trying to figure out my favorite opening for black. I like the Scandinavian most but am exploring other options too.

The Queen’s Gambit is not only an extremely cool sounding name for a Chess opening, it is also highly effective if played correctly. Almost everyone knows the position of the Queen’s Gambit.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4

    The Queen’s Gambit

The central idea here is that white wants black to take the pawn. If black does capture the pawn, the position is called Queen’s Gambit Accepted. If it declines by playing e6, it is called the Queen’s Gambit Declined. But really, any other move would still qualify as declining the gambit. However, e6 is the best move for black in this position. I will explain my reasoning for this later. If they accept it, then white must play e4 for the best possible move. GothamChess recommends this and I agree with his reasoning.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4

    Queen’s Gambit Accepted

There are two really good things to do if your opponent does take the pawn on c4. The option I recommend is pawn to e4. This leads to what is called the Queen’s Gambit Accepted: Saduleto Variation.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 dxc4 3. e4

    Queen’s Gambit Accepted: Saduleto Variation

In this position white is already at an advantage because they have moved both center pawns forward two squares and can capture back the c4 pawn. If white plays reasonably well from here, the win is almost guaranteed.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6

    Queen’s Gambit Declined

Black has declined the gambit and now white must make a different plan. White should NOT capture the pawn on d5 because then the e6 pawn will capture back and allow both of black’s bishops free movement for the rest of the game. Instead, there are two really good moves white can do. My favorite is to move the knight to c3 to block a potential check by black’s bishop.

    By playing e6,

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 c6

    Slav Defence

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Qa4+

    Chastity’s Counter Check Trap

In this position, black’s dark squared bishop pins the white’s knight against the king. White moves queen to a4 and delivers check first. The best move for black in this position is to move the knight to c6 because it is literally the only move to not lose the bishop. If black plays any other move, white kills the bishop next turn and is already winning. But even if they do play Nc6, white can still attack the bishop with pawn to a3. White is in a good position. The only sad part is that black can kill the white knight but we can still capture back with bxc3. This means the pawn also defends the d4 pawn which is great because the queen no longer defends it. Being in a good position makes it worth the loss of the knight in this specific case.

    1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6 3. Nc3 Bb4 4. Qa4+ Nc6 5. a3 Bxc3+ 6. bxc3

Notes on this position will be added later.
